Sports, Sports, and More Sports

Currently, Anna and Mark are both in Soccer and Mark is also in T-Ball. It is so much fun to go and watch their games. They both are really good at soccer. The least amount of goals Mark has scored at a game is 7. (He is lucky to have 4 older siblings to play with him.) Mark is also good at T-Ball. It is so cute to see them out there in their uniforms not knowing where to go. Here are a couple of pictures of Mark. (I will get some of Anna soon. :)

Basketball Season

Our Saturdays in February are filled with the boys' basketball games. Brett is coaching Brayden's team this year. He promised him since he coached Zach last year. This last Sat. I went with camera in hand trying to capture the perfect picture/video. Every time I got the camera out, Nate and Kacie would want to play with it or cry for me to take their picture. I think at one point when I let them look at it, they messed with all the settings. My pictures kept coming out blury and bad. Anyway, I'll have to go back and try to reset my camera. Just wanted to share this with everyone since its about all we do for awhile. The second video of Brayden you can't see him very well because he's behind the pole--but its him, I promise!

Bev, We just wanted to say Thank You for the wonderful quilts you made for the kids for Christmas! They LOVE them! What a treasure they can keep forever. They've been wrapped up in them almost constantly the last 2 days. We had a nice time at your house on Christmas afternoon and loved seeing everyone. We hope you all had a great Christmas Day!

Santa's Elf

Last weekend Jessica was invited to her friends' ward Christmas party to dress up as an elf. They had the actual costumes that they wore in the movie Elf. They handed out toys to the kids as they sat on Santa's lap. She had a lot of fun.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, here are a few pictures from the first Thanksgiving at Bev and Perry's new house. I think it definitely got broke it!! We missed everyone that wasn't able to come and hope that you guys had a great day too!

Well, I guess I need to show you some pictures of our Halloween. I'm like Kara, I don't take pictures like I used to. I was lucky to get these pictures. I look at everyone's blogging and I'm amazed that everyone has the energy to do all these fun cookies, pumpkin decorating, cute costumes, etc. You go girls!!! Hope everyone has a great week.

Trick-or Treat! Thank you!

Kacie needed the prompt every time--say "trick-or-treat", now say "thank you". Nate had no problem running right up to the house screaming TRICK OR TREAT!! Here is our Halloween picture. I remember the days where I took lots of pictures and each child had pictures alone. This year its the Halloween picture and we're lucky we got even one! I don't know what it is--just tired and lazy I guess. It's so fun to see every one in their costumes! Nate had the most fun I think. He said, "that is the best trick-or-treating of my whole life!"

We had a great time seeing Perry, Brett, Dave, Doug, Zach and Brayden. Next year we need Mitch, Darrin, and Bill to come out.

I have convinced the guys that it is now time for the girls to get together. They all agreed, so lets take advantage!!!

The best part of the entire "extreme sports weekend" (hockey, baseball, football, bowling and skydiving) was seeing them all crammed in the mini-van. Doug said that he will take charge of the car rental next year.

The Guy's Weekend in Denver

Cruisin' 2007

We just got back from our second cruise yesterday. Everyone had a great time but dad didn't like the heat too much. We went on the Carnival cruise lines. The food was great and they had so much to offer. We went with a bunch of friends from church. Mark and Anna had fun in Camp Carnival while Matt and Jessica were having fun hanging out with their friends. It was nice to get a break and for the kids to get out of school for a week.

The places the cruise ship stopped at were Jamaica, The Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel. In Jamaica we went to a private resort. There were paddle boats, kayaks, a water park, and of course the beach. In Grand Cayman we went to Sting Ray City where we got to hold, kiss, and feed the sting rays. Then we went snorkeling for a little bit. In Cozumel, we went snorkeling for four hours and did a little bit of shopping.

Formal dining was one of the best parts. The food was delicious. Our waiters were a lot of fun too. Every night they sang a different song or did a different dance. They were so funny.
